Ease is a tranquil resort which embodies the idea of Biophilia, in partnership with Blueland, with the goal of enhancing human connection to nature through incorporating natural elements such as natural material, fresh air, and sunlight into the overall experience. Ease create a balance between city and nature, allowing guests to release stress related to urban environment while improving well-being and health for guests upon arrival.

PUBLIC SPACE PLAN
The car will enter from Sunset Blvd to a driveway and the lobby is located in the end. The left side is the meditation space and the right side is the resort.

MATERIAL PALETTE
The material chosen for the resort will reflect on the theme which will evoke a feeling of serena, delicate, and earthy. By using materials that are raw and have rough texture will allow the natural flow of energy throughout the space and reflect the idea of Biophilia. While using delicate and calm material evoking a sense of tranquility and relaxation and allowing guests release stress and slow down.

ENTRANCE / LOBBY
The first impression is important when arriving in an unknown place. Biophilic design is incorporate into the design of lobby, by using natural material, living plants, and an earthy color palette. The lobby is extended to second floor which provide and highlight scenic view of the ocean and allowing natural light to shine in. The open lobby welcoming guests and promote wellbeing and comfort.

SPA
The spa offer individual treatment room, sauna, steam room and plunge pool which promotes a sense of well-being and help guest release stress. The decor, color, furniture and scent remain consistent throughout the spa experience and help to set the overall mood.BAR / RESTAURANT
The bar is connected to the restaurant. People are able to view the outside garden and enjoy the sunshine while drinking.
The restaurant is located in the center of the resort. The design lied in wood and living plants makes people surrounding by nature while enjoying the moment of taste. The wooden slat on the facade can be open or close depending on the time period of the day.

The middle courtyard is created by numerous green plants, wood slat and stone. It is design for people to slow down, wander around, immerse in nature environment and refresh themselves after a busy day.
The infinity-edge outdoor pool is located at the edges of the cliff which blends into the surrounding environment. While swimming in the pool, people are able to have a panoramas of the lush cliffsides, mountains, and ocean.

In the end, people will be able to purchase the Blueland refill tablets and go home to do another round of meditation which is cleaning home.
